Episode 1
Geologist Steve is kidnapped by bandit Lampião. Maria Bonita arranges a secret meeting. Lampião sends a message to the police chief to negotiate Steve's release.
Episode 2
Maria Bonita feels ill and Lampião discovers that she took an abortive tea. Alice influences Sergeant Libório to go after Lampião. Lieutenant Zé Rufino goes after Maria Bonita.

Zé Rufino goes to Joana's farm, determined to find out something about Lampião. Lampião is suspicious of Coronel. Maria Bonita is involved in an exchange of gunfire.

Maria Bonita manages to get rid of Zé Rufino, but realizes that one of her bandits was left behind. Linfolfo meets Lampião's brother. Maria Bonita meets her daughter again.
