Jessie is worried that Katrina can't cope with looking after two babies. Jimmy has no choice but to return home when Jackie goes on holiday without him. Rachel tells Katie that she is pregnant and doesn't know what to do, and Darren, Nathan and Victoria move in.

Katrina resents Jessie's interference. Rachel is not pleased that Jacqui has told Katie her news. Ryan decides to take matters into his own hands when he finds out that Harvey has refused to give a DNA sample.

Jacqui believes that Mike ought to find out the truth about Rachel. Greg is pleased to discover that Margi is going to be away for a night. DS Rose gives Ryan a firm talking to when Harvey retracts his confession, and Joey visits Luke again.

When Jackie returns to the Close, she tells Jimmy that she is going to move in with Lindsey. Susannah is horrified to find that Lindsey knows about her affair with Greg. Ron steps in when he doesn't like the way Katrina is treating Harry, and Sinbad is disappointed that Ruth hardly recognises him.
Episode 2227 - Family Ties
Mike finds out that Rachel is pregnant, and Ron and Anthea set another wedding date. Jason looks forward to his liaison with Jayne. Matt and Bosko are looking for new investors in "The Stones of Shad", and Sinbad feels all alone in the world.

The druids plan to sacrifice Fudge the hamster in the stone circle of Shad. Harvey's reason for lying to the police is revealed. Sinbad discovers Rachel's news from Ron, and Jimmy and Jackie's marriage may be over for good.

Greg celebrates Father's Day in an inappropriate way. Ron's cost-cutting leads to Ruth having to be rushed to hospital, and a violent confrontation with Sinbad.

While Jimmy cooks lunch for Jackie in the hope of getting back on speaking terms with her, William falls into the pond in the garden. There is a rude awakening for the lads at Glastonbury, and the tension rises on the Close as Luke's trial approaches.

Nikki feels humiliated when she is cross-examined by the defence barrister. Jimmy is disappointed with his pupils' poor exam results, but promises to put his family first.

Luke's trial begins, and Nikki gives her evidence. A power cut on the Parade causes problems for Mick. Jimmy and Jackie are forced closer together as they keep vigil at William's bedside, and Ron and Anthea look forward to their wedding.

Ryan takes the witness stand, the closing arguments are presented, and the jury retire to consider their verdict. Ron falls ill after eating a pie from the chip shop.

After the verdict, the Musgroves are not really in the mood for a party, and Greg is distracted from his family's needs. But Jackie and Jimmy are told they can take Wills home from hospital.

On his wedding day, Ron hears that someone has died of food poisoning, and fears that he will be next. Mike is worried when Rachel also becomes ill. Nikki and Katrina plan a holiday, and Jimmy's teaching career may be over.

Matt and Bosko are suspended after the headmaster discovers their illegal website, and suspects them of stealing the exhibits which went missing at the same time. An environmental health inspector who arrives at the chip shop looks strangely familiar, and Jessie also meets someone she knows, when she turns up for babysitting duty after no-one can reach her to cancel.......

Jessie must decide whether to tell Margi what she has discovered about Greg and Susannah. Mark turns up at Victoria's flat, making her wonder if she can ever rid herself of him. When Ryan seems to have something on his mind, Katie wants to know what it is.

Katie begins to wonder what she has got herself into when Ryan starts rambling about his feelings of guilt. Jessie tells Greg that he must end his affair with Susannah. Katrina is concerned about Nikki's friendship with Jerome.

Episode 2269 - Bottling
Jackie contacts the police about the attack on Lindsey, unaware that she and Jimmy know Callum is responsible. Mick decides to sell the chip shop, regardless of what anyone else thinks. Nikki and Jessie wonder how much longer they can keep the truth from Margi.
Episode 2270 - Blaming
Jimmy makes matters worse by approaching Callum, leaving Lindsey terrified of what he might do next. Susannah refuses to feel responsible for Greg's death. Niamh attends her award ceremony, and Mick reassures Sinbad about his future.
Episode 2271 - Hidden Agenda
Jacqui becomes increasingly nervous about the prospect of meeting her prospective in-laws, wondering what Nathan is hiding about them. Lindsey agrees to stay with Shelley while she recovers. The coroner releases Greg's body, but how will Emily react when Margi and Jessie decide to bring him home?
Episode 2272 - Mingling
Emily finds Nikki's vodka bottle and thinks her dad was a secret drinker. Jacqui is speechless when she arrives at Nathan's parents' home. Matt and Bosko come up with another get-rich-quick scam.
Episode 2273 - Juddering
Jacqui considers selling her share in "Bar Brookie", Mick tells Sinbad he has made an important decision, and Megan wrecks Matt and Bosko's plans involving Millennium bugs.
Episode 2274 - Dying
At his funeral, Nikki can't bear to listen as Margi tells everyone what a good man Greg was. Sinbad is devastated when Mick finally sells the chip shop. Mark drops a bombshell, and Susannah's condition becomes serious, as her lung collapses.
Episode 2275 - Needs
The charges against Leo and Jerome are dropped. Jimmy fears that Shelley is looking for more than friendship from Lindsey. Tim wonders what the future holds, and Katrina has little sympathy for Susannah, but worries that Harry and Emma will suffer unless she can contact Max.
Episode 2276 - One To One
Niamh tries to prevent Josh from getting his revenge on Jerome and Leo. Jacqui warns Ron not to contact Max, and Shelley enjoys winding up Jimmy. Nikki makes a decision about her relationship with Jerome, and Deborah may have designs on Nathan.
Episode 2277 - Emotional Support
Josh and his gang return, Lindsey needs to prove to Alasdair that Callum planted the bomb, Victoria tells Darren that she is going to make a sacrifice and go back to Mark, and a bearded stranger appears at Susannah's bedside.
Episode 2278 - Peace Offering
Ron goes a little too far in what he says about Luke. Margi sets about rebuilding her life. Susannah regains consciousness, but Katrina tells Nikki that she wants to give up her job.
Episode 2279 - Divided We Fall
While the residents meet to discuss the problem of Josh and his gang, Max realises that he may be left holding the babies. Lindsey tries to set up a meeting with Callum and Rose, and Ron decides to resist the developers.
Episode 2280 - Girl Power
Lindsey finally thinks she has got rid of Callum for good and won herself time to repay Rose. Jerome decides it is time for fascists to be dealt with. Susannah makes her position clear.

After discovering Darren with Charlotte, Victoria goes to bed with Mark. Emily and Nikki encourage Margi to accept a job offer in Brussels. Mick can't keep Leo on the straight and narrow, and risks losing him.

While Max is making the most of being a father again, and news of Greg's affair spreads, Margi pours her heart out to a squirming Susannah, and reveals that she once broke the nose of a girl just because she spoke to him.......

Jackie makes Lindsey promise not to give Jimmy a job, but Lindsey is more worried about whether she can repay Rose. Sinbad receives news about his hearing problem, Nikki drinks her troubles away, and someone is finally going to tell Margi what everybody else knows, and she doesn't.......
Episode 2284 - Sordid Details
Susannah fears for her life when Margi, furious that Nikki didn't tell her about Greg's affair, confronts her in her bedroom. But for once she is grateful for Max returning home and rescuing her.
Episode 2285 - Performance
While they move into number 9, Nathan and Darren are entertained by the goings-on outside, as Jessie tries to convince Margi that having Greg's underpants strewn all over the Close isn't really going to help matters.
Episode 2286 - Worst Nightmare
Jacqui discovers that Deborah is moving in with Nathan and Darren. Ryan tells Luke that he accidentally slept with Abby again while visiting her. Mark irritates Victoria by going on and on about his incurable disease at a dinner party, and troublemaker Josh returns to the Close.......
Episode 2287 - Futile
Emily tells Margi that she doesn't want to go to Belgium because she won't be able to watch "Dawson's Creek" any more. Tim gets a new job, but there's a snag. Mick and Leo can't believe Jerome's casual approach to what happened to Josh. Lindsey wants to be honest with Shelley, but Shelley isn't prepared for what she hears.
Episode 2288 - Leaves
Alec puts his back out while clearing up some leaves. Darren tries unsuccessfully to persuade Victoria to reconsider her decision to go back to Mark when he slips on the leaves. And, looking forward to her new job in Brussels, Margi.......leaves.
Episode 2289 - First Proper Date
When Ryan has to go back to Scotland, Luke fills in for him on a dinner date with Katie at "The Shelf", where Susannah's first night back at work is ruined by an outburst from a drunken Nikki. Leo and Kelly go out on a first proper date, but Charlotte tells Darren they should cool things between them for a while.
Episode 2290 - Capable Of Much More
Alec is determined to prove he still has a lot to offer, and to take steps to improve his appearance. Nikki is alarmed to receive a gift from Harvey, and is fearful of what he will do next. Mr Moore brings Sinbad a construction kit, and encourages him to learn sign-language and to find a suitable job.

Jessie is not impressed to hear that Tim is Emily's new boyfriend. Jackie is amazed when she is promoted to manageress of the petrol station. Lindsey and Shelley's relationship looks shaky, and Jacqui isn't much help when Katie becomes fed up with Ryan.

When Jessie finds Nikki and Jerome in bed together and interrupts Emily kissing Tim, she feels that her granddaughters' moral standards are slipping, and decides to move in to the bungalow with them. Alec receives something in the post that causes more hilarity than he anticipated.

Nikki and Bernie confront Harvey about his obsession. Jacqui walks in on Deborah and Nathan, and gives him an ultimatum. Katie persuades Luke to tell her what he knows about Ryan.

Mick worries about Leo's prospects. and Mike is concerned when he realises that Rachel will be working right up until the baby's birth. Deborah plans to break up Nathan and Jacqui, and Ryan discovers that Luke has revealed something he didn't want anybody to know.

Sinbad and Niamh both have interviews at EasyLec, but at least one of them is going to be disappointed. Nikki drunkenly stumbles into a taxi without realising who is at the wheel.......

Harvey is arrested for abduction. Ryan is not impressed when Katie reveals the identity of her new boyfriend. Max becomes Susannah's knight in shining armour, and time is running out for Lindsey as Rose's deadline approaches.

Jessie is unconvinced when Nikki remains sure that Luke was her rapist, despite the evidence now pointing to Harvey. Leo finds it hard to deal with the responsibilities of adult life, Max shows interest in Niamh, and Mike has something to say to Rachel.

Sinbad makes a decision, Jerome confronts Ryan when Nikki gets drunk again, Nathan has a surprise for Jacqui, Jimmy turns over a new leaf, and Max has some news for Susannah.

Mick is surprised when Leo goes out early, and even more so when he finds that it was to get a job. Darren wonders why Jimmy is building a shed that doesn't look like a shed. Jerome asks Jessie if he can move in with Nikki, and Lindsey steals money from the safe at "Bar Brookie" in an attempt to get closer to repaying her debt to Rose.

Mike tries to convince Rachel that they can afford to buy a car. Alasdair is furious when Lindsey cannot repay her debt to Rose in full, and comes up with an offer she cannot refuse. Max spoils the mood at a dinner with Susannah by reflecting on his past misdemeanours. Jessie insists that Nikki, Emily and Jerome join her when Ray comes to tea - and he brings wine.......

Nikki is convinced that Harvey doesn't deserve to go to prison, and tells the police that she wants to drop the charges against him. Niamh flirts with Max, Lindsey's trouble worsens, Leo is suspended from work when he falls asleep on the job, and Mike buys a car.

Lindsey is not pleased about Dave's plans, and can't believe it when Jimmy suggests she goes to the police. Nathan has a tempting offer for Jacqui, and Jessie is shocked by Ray's revelations about his marriage.

Jacqui finds the safe is empty, and dissolves her partnership with Lindsey. Tim and Emily work out how to get their hands on some cash. Jerome offers Nikki his full support, as she resolves to put the past behind her, and Leo despairs when Mick and Sinbad abandon their attempts at decorating and return to the comfort of their couch.

As her week goes from bad to worse, Lindsey worries that she has wrecked her friendship with Shelley, and fears that Jacqui will go to the police if she doesn't replace the money she took. Joey strains Jackie's patience, and Nikki spends the day in Bar Brookie instead of going to her lectures.

Mark sees what the future is likely to hold for him in his mother. Mike proposes to Rachel, and she turns him down. Max kisses Niamh, and Shelley must decide how to respond to Lindsey's advances.

The death of Mark's mother makes Victoria reconsider her future with him. Mick is told that Gemma is being sent home from her holiday in Barbados for smoking pot. Nikki starts to rebuild her life, but will Jerome stand by her?

Rachel shows off her engagement ring, Gemma has some explaining to do when she returns home, and an unusual Christmas party takes place at Mick and Sinbad's, as Max, Jimmy and Ray help them with their decorating.

A confession devastates Joey, Katie turns to Rachel for comfort, and Jackie finds herself warming to Shelley when she is left alone with her after Christmas dinner at the Corkhills'.
Episode 2312 - Please, Thank You, Goodbye
Joey is determined that one member of his family is no longer welcome. Ray is delighted when Jessie returns from her holiday early to be with him. Jacqui is eager to tell everyone about her wonderful Christmas at Cuddington Hall, but Victoria and Mark's party ends in tragedy.
Episode 2313 - Unveiling
Jimmy and Ray work around the clock to finish their millennium arch so that it can be unveiled in time. Gemma makes a disastrous purchase from Dave, there is a nasty New Year surprise for Niamh, and Mike and Rachel celebrate a very special arrival.
