Overview
1837: Another year of the grueling Caucasian war. A young officer, Grigory Pechorin, was sent into exile to the active army for participating in a duel. Here in the Caucasus, Pechorin will have to become an unwitting participant in rapidly unfolding events - a fight with smugglers, the abduction of a young Circassian princess, another duel. And when the whole world turns against Pechorin, and a close friend falls by his hand, he will continue his journey alone, a hero, a product of the new age...

Season 1
Based on a novel by Mikhail Lermontov "Geroy Nashego Vremeni" which tells the story of Pechorin traveling in Kavkaz. The officer, tormented by inner feelings, finds himself in exile.

A road carriage is driving along the road in the vicinity of Pyatigorsk. In it is Grigory Aleksandrovich Pechorin, exiled from St. Petersburg to the Caucasus for a duel with Captain Rokotov.
Episode 2
A drunken Cossack Ermolov breaks into the restaurant and kills the waitress. Grushnitsky manages to disarm him. Walking along the grape alley, Pechorin meets his old friend...
Episode 3
At an evening at the Ligovskys', Pechorin arranges a meeting with Vera. The princess reproaches him for not paying attention to himself and decides to make him jealous by flirting with other gentlemen.
Episode 4
Grushnitsky is promoted to officer. At a country picnic, Pechorin tells Mary the story of his life, and the girl confesses her love to him.

Pechorin asks Werner to be his second. He agrees and tells Gregory about the conspiracy being built against him. A duel is looming

Bela, imprisoned in a fortress, is sad and sings sad songs, but then little by little begins to fall in love with Pechorin.

Bela didn't make scandals or throw tantrums. The girl understood that interest in her had faded and could not be returned. Bela's fate was tragic.
