Overview
When Jude Harrison enters G Major’s singer/songwriter contest, she knows her stuff will kill, but she’s shocked when she learns she won the whole darn thing! Now, with a recording contract, a soon-to-be released single and a mega-crush on her producer, Jude’s wading through a world bigger than her wildest rock n’ roll dreams. Thrust into the spotlight, Jude is desperate to prove she belongs there…but she’s not even old enough to drive.

The Instant Star is chosen just as Jude is dealing with a personal crisis. The pictures that were taken at Barry's have resurfaced and he wants 50,000 dollars or they go to the press.

When Jude releases her photos herself she suffers some backlash and is forced to sit on Karma's first press conference. Big mistake, since Karma announced live that Jude wasn't a virgin, but instead of correcting her she decides to fight back with Patsy. Meanwhile Tommy finds out about Sadie and Kwest.

Jude finds out that not only will Karma will be doing a cover of her song Tommy will be producing Karma's album. So she decides to produce a song all on her own.
