Germany's Next Topmodel is a German reality television show, based on a concept that was introduced by Tyra Banks with America's Next Top Model. The competition is hosted by Heidi Klum. She also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show.

New season, new jury
Screaming reception for Heidi Klum and her new jury colleagues. In season 5 she is supported by star photographer Kristian Schuller and marketing expert Qualid Ladraa. Well, then the big casting can begin!
Fashion Week Berlin
In this episode, Heidi Klum, Kristian Schuller and Q take the 31 girls, who were selected from over 2000 applicants, on their first trip - to Berlin. The first fashion show awaits you as part of “Fashion Week”.
Shooting on the suitcase treadmill
This time it's about proving your sense of style: skirt or jeans, blouse or top? At Munich Airport, the girls had to face the jury and spectators. She also expects a strenuous photo shoot on a suitcase treadmill.
Oversized dresses
“Germany’s Next Top Model” juror Kristian Schuller is planning the first big photo shoot on Derdesteen Beach in Cape Town. In oversized dresses, the models are supposed to hang on rings or balance on swings and look really elegant.
The Makeover
During the shoot in the fashion metropolis of New York, the Germany's Next Top Model candidates have to prove their acting talent. In addition, big tears are rolling down from our models again because it's affecting their hair! It's being restyled!
Moving into the model villa
In this episode, the aspiring models have to prove themselves in New York and show what they have learned so far on Germany's Next Top Model. The girls are also moving: finally off to the new model villa. After the candidates stayed in a designer hotel on Fifth Avenue in New York, they are now heading to the model villa. Now they have to prove everything they have learned so far in order to survive in New York. After all, only the best girls have a safe place in the new villa.
Push-ups, sit-ups etc.
In this episode of Germany's Next Top Model, things get serious for the girls. You have a literally hot shoot ahead of you with one of the leading photographers in the world. Who can convince the photographer and Heidi and who can't? Things are getting serious for the girls! Heidi now demands everything from her protégés. A fiery shoot and a tough decision await the models...
Shaky party on the beach
It's going to be wet for our models this week! The sexy beach shoot is not hot, but bitterly cold! You can see who can cope with the cold and who fails here.
Sexy in lingerie
This week it's going to be exciting for the models: Some of them are allowed to go on the catwalk for Kimora Simmons! There's also a scalding hot lingerie shoot where the girls really have to let their hair down. Who will master this task?
Belly dance lessons
In episode 10 it will be exciting and fun at the same time: the girls take on the role of a bird, get some belly dancing lessons together with Heidi and things will be highly emotional with the models this week. You can find out why here.
The model circus
The model circus is here! This week the models are shooting with circus attractions, such as elephants! There’s also a huge job to land. However, to do this they have to jump and sing. Who will win the race?
Living mannequins
Things are getting tighter for the girls. This week they have to be live mannequins and do real stunts! Plus, some of them get to shoot for Cosmopolitan! You can see which of the girls are particularly under pressure in episode 12.
Shopping trip in L.A.
This time the girls are spared nothing from the shopping trip into the mud. However, it's time to close your eyes and keep going, because the season finale is getting closer and even the smallest mistakes can make the difference between a modeling career or a trip home.
The pressure is growing
As a model you have to be prepared for anything. You also have to skillfully avoid nasty questions from journalists, and some girls would have made a real embarrassment of themselves. But preparing for the fashion world out there is now more necessary than ever, because now it's all about making it to the final! Of course, every job you get helps you score points with the jury, and the greater the resentment becomes.
The Semi-finals
The jury around top model Heidi Klum sends the girls to the track, now the questions are being asked like at school! Commercials, commercial shoots, photo shoots and a running job in Milan: the judges want to see what the girls have achieved so far. Because this is their last week together in the model villa, after that only three of the girls go to the finals and saying goodbye is very difficult!
The Finale
It's time! The grand finale of season 5 of Germany's Next Top Model begins. With a breathtaking stage show and the 3 finalists. There will also be a reunion with the top 18 of this season.
