Overview
The series, loosely based on the true story of the assassination in Dubai of a senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Mabhouh - the co-founder of military wing of the Islamist Palestinian group Hamas on 19 January 2010, revolves around five ordinary Israeli citizens who discover one morning via the media that they are the principal suspects of a high-profile kidnapping and are implicated as culprits in the kidnapping.

Episode 1
During an Israeli high-tech company party in Cyprus, people fall to the floor and start convulsing. Everyone fears it is a chemical attack, and the Mossad is called in to investigate. A veteran investigator is immediately sent to Cyprus to get to the bottom of the matter.
Episode 2
An important figure sneaks into the closed ward where the victims of the attack are being treated. Corinne is in shock from the explosion that occurred in Didier's room and identifies his body. Eitan suspects that there are other attackers besides Didier and tries to continue the investigation in Cyprus. New details are also revealed about the poison used in the attack.
Episode 3
Anna discovers a hidden camera in Dafna Mishor's hotel room. The wounded return to the hospital in Israel—Dani Harel's condition worsens, while that of Shimi Dekel, the Minister of Agriculture, improves. The command center receives information about another body that may be related to the incident.
Episode 4
After Didier's funeral, Corinne discovers a surprising note in the women's restroom. At headquarters, Laya and Tamar confront each other and discover a new detail about Daphne. Later, it becomes apparent that Neri is also hiding something, and Eitan tries to understand why.
Episode 5
Anna finds a flash drive in the safe and realizes that it might help her get the money for her heart surgery, but finding it also puts her in danger. Avi goes out to look for Ofir Korman.
Episode 6
Eitan and Kochavi are upset about Avi's injury. Kochavi focuses on finding Ofir Korman, while Eitan thinks he is the victim. Shimi is interviewed on television, and Eitan suspects he is connected to the attack. Anna's son is in danger.
Episode 7
Sagit's big data system reveals new information that sheds new light on the investigation and the suspects.
Episode 8
Season finale. During which Eitan manages to crack the investigation.
